Brian Henling PhD, President
Dr. Henling has successfully engineered and completed complex, nationwide, mission-critical software products for major clients including AT&T Wireless, McCaw, Clearwire, and Internap. He has over eighteen years of experience providing strategic advice and development services to early-stage and established technology companies. Dr. Henling's clients all realized significant returns on investment from a leader who knows their business as well as his own. Dr. Henling was awarded his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington. He earned a Masters in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, and his BS in Computer Science/Math from Loyola University. He is a member of several honor societies and professional organizations.
Anita Lammert, Vice President of Business Development
With over twenty years of exemplary experience in senior-level management, Anita Lammert brings to Ursus an outstanding record of organizational leadership, marketing, strategic alliances, and business development skills. She has been recognized for her innovative management style, attracting top-notch talent and building successful cross-functional teams and projects. She is past president of ACL & Associates where she provided consultancy to the Institute for Systems Biology, T-Mobile, Microsoft, PNNL, and several other corporations. Previously, she was Senior Vice President for Public Affairs, Communications and Community Relations for AT&T Wireless, and, earlier Executive Director for the City of Seattle Community, Neighborhoods and Public Information Office. Some of her numerous awards received are: AT&T National Woman of the Year, Management Excellence Award, AT&T Hall of Excellence Award, Marketing, and the Power of One Award, presented in behalf of former US Senator, Slade Gordon. Anita is actively engaged in the community, sharing her talents by serving as Board Member, Corporate Council for the Arts; President Elect, Intiman Board of Trustees; Board Member, the King County Boys & Girls Clubs; Board Member, the Municipal League; and Senior Advisor, Daniel Evans School of Public Policy. Ms. Lammert earned an MPA in Public Administration from Seattle University, and a BA in Political Science and Journalism from the University of Washington.
Mahima Wijayasundara, Vice President of Development
Mahima has over a decade of experience in all stages of software development and management. A leader experienced in all tiers of multi-tier architecture, database design, server-side and client-side programming, as well as UI design, Mahima has managed the launch of numerous successful products. Some of his products have been in use for almost a decade by wireless telecommunication industry leaders. Mahima has specialized in wireless and emerging technologies, MNVOs, technology startups, and storage management. He has worked in the past with TeraCloud and Unified Signal. Mahima earned an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Montana where he wrote his thesis on An Object Oriented Solution for the Geospatial Metadata Standard. Mahima earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Eastern Connecticut State University. Mahima has received several awards of distinction for academic excellence. He is active in local cricket teams.
